AOC smears Marine veteran as a killer

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is one of the most prominent voices on the left.

Elected Democrats ignore her at their own peril.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made a big demand that just put Alvin Bragg on the spot.

Homelessness is a scourge plaguing Democrat-run cities with Soros-backed district attorneys.

The toxic mix of the Democrat mayors refusing to get a handle on the homeless problem and Soros-funded district attorneys refusing to enforce quality-of-life laws led to a tragedy as mentally ill homeless man Jordan Neely died after harassing passengers on the subway.

Neely was yelling at passengers, throwing trash, and causing a massive disruption.

A 24-year-old Marine veteran put Neely in a chokehold while other passengers restrained him by holding down his legs.

Neely later died and before any authorities could conduct any investigation Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez smeared the Marine as a “murderer” and completely whitewashed the homeless and public safety crisis liberals like her and the Soros-backed Bragg caused.

“Jordan Neely was murdered. But bc Jordan was houseless and crying for food in a time when the city is raising rents and stripping services to militarize itself while many in power demonize the poor, the murderer gets protected w/ passive headlines + no charges. It’s disgusting,” Ocasio-Cortez posted on social media.

Black Lives Matter descended on the subway to protest and threaten civil unrest over Neely’s death.

Neely was arrested 40 previous times and was clearly mentally ill.

But because Ocasio-Cortez and district attorneys like Bragg support a light-touch treatment towards criminals and mentally ill homeless people Neely was allowed to roam the subways.

Even Democrat Mayor Eric Adams slammed Ocasio-Cortez and City Comptroller Brad Lander for putting pressure on Bragg by sliming the Marine as a killer.

“Well, right now, it’s still ongoing, and really our hearts go out to the family [in] this terrible incident. And the district attorney — as you stated, the M.E., medical examiner’s office just ruled in the case, and now it’s in the hands of the investigators to determine exactly what happened. There are so many unknowns at this time,” Adams began.

“Well, both the Congresswoman and the Comptroller — the Comptroller’s a city-wide leader and I don’t think that’s very responsible at a time when we’re still investigating the situation. Let’s let the DA conduct his investigation with the law enforcement officials, to really interfere with that is not the right thing to do. And I’m going to be responsible and allow them to do their job and allow them to determine what exactly happened here,” Adams added.

Critics contend Ocasio-Cortez could have used this tragedy as a moment for self-reflection and awareness to acknowledge the consequences of her push to defund the police, oppose cash bail, and not clean up the homeless off the city streets.

Instead, Ocasio-Cortez sought to inflame passions and risk causing another George Floyd-style riot.
