Democrats are coming after Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
Socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez led the charge.

Liberals pounced on a ProPublica hit piece that slimed Justice Thomas with false allegations of corruption.
ProPublica tried to invent a fake scandal over Thomas not reporting vacation trips with conservative activist Harlan Crow and his wife on his financial disclosure forms.
Ocasio-Cortez could not wait to use social media to call for Justice Thomas’s impeachment.
“This is beyond party or partisanship. This degree of corruption is shocking – almost cartoonish,” Ocasio-Cortez posted on Twitter. “Thomas must be impeached. Barring some dramatic change, this is what the Roberts court will be known for: rank corruption, erosion of democracy, and the stripping of human rights.”
But Justice Thomas destroyed these hoax charges and fake news smears by simply telling the truth.
Thomas explained that under the Supreme Court’s code of ethics he wasn’t required to report personal hospitality gifts.
“Early in my tenure at the Court, I sought guidance from my colleagues and others in the judiciary, and was advised that this sort of personal hospitality from close personal friends, who did not have business before the Court, was not reportable,” Justice Thomas stated. “I have endeavored to follow that counsel throughout my tenure, and have always sought to comply with the disclosure guidelines.”
Thomas added that Crow and his wife are longtime friends whom Thomas and his wife Ginni regularly vacationed with.
“Harlan and Kathy Crow are among our dearest friends, and we have been friends for over 25 years,” Thomas added. “As friends do, we have joined them on a number of family trips during the more than quarter-century we have known them.”
Crow noted that he never once had business before the Supreme Court.
Thomas concluded by noting that the Judicial Conference tightened their financial disclosure reporting guidelines in March to include personal hospitality and that Thomas plans to follow those requirements.
“These guidelines are now being changed, as the committee of the Judicial Conference responsible for financial disclosure for the entire judiciary just this past month announced new guidance. And, it is, of course, my intent to follow this guidance in the future,” Justice Thomas continued.
This whole ordeal was a hoax scandal invented by the corporate media to smear Justice Thomas.
Justice Thomas played a key role last term in the conservative majority in overturning Roe v. Wade, expanding the scope of Second Amendment rights, and rolling back Joe Biden’s Green New Deal initiatives.
The left wants revenge.
And this fake news media hit piece is designed to create a cloud of scandal around Justice Thomas — and the conservative majority on the Court — so if Democrats keep the White House and win control of both houses of Congress in 2024 Democrats can impeach Justice Thomas and pass court-packing legislation.
