There’s a good chance American taxpayers helped create the Covid virus.
And the amount it cost is truly astonishing.
This payment to Communist China’s gain-of-function research is bad news for Dr. Fauci.
Records indicate the U.S. government overpaid labs in Wuhan, China by tens of millions of dollars according to CBS News.
“What I’ve found so far is evidence that points to double billing, potential theft of government funds. It is concerning, especially since it involves dangerous pathogens and risky research,” former federal investigator Diane Cutler said.
Cutler examined 50,000 documents including U.S. government grants for high-risk research in China and, after taking the results of her research to the internal watchdog at USAID (United States Agency for International Development), was hired by Republican Sen. Roger Marshall to look into what actually happened.
“I think there’s 1.1 million reasons that American taxpayers should care,” Marshall said. “You’ll have a plane [crash]. We want to find out why the plane crashes. We go to any lengths to do that. And the hope is we don’t have another plane crash for the same reason.”
There are many questions the American people deserve answers to.
Why are American taxpayers funding dangerous virological research in China that could have been used for biological warfare? Why did government officials work so hard to repress the lab leak theory? Why is it taking years to uncover this information? How do we prevent this from happening again?
Democrats claim to take Covid seriously – but aren’t willing to be tough on China or hold people like Dr. Anthony Fauci accountable for funding dangerous research.
Robert Redfield, former director of the CDC, was recently questioned by Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) about Dr. Anthony Fauci’s statement under oath in 2021 that there had been no U.S. funding for gain-of-function research in China.
“Do you think that Dr. Fauci intentionally lied under oath to Sen. Paul when he vehemently denied NIH’s funding of gain-of-function research?” Malliotakis asked Redfield.
“I think there is no doubt NIH was funding gain-of-function research,” Redfield answered.
“Is it likely American tax dollars funded the gain-of-function research that created this virus?” Malliotakis asked.
“I think it did, not only from the NIH but the State Department, from USAID, and from DOD,” Redfield replied.
Redfield also said Fauci actively silenced anyone who disagreed with his narrative on Covid’s origins.
“This was an a priori decision that there’s one point of view that we’re going to put out there, and anyone who doesn’t agree with it is going to be sidelined. And as I say, I was only the CDC director, and I was sidelined,” Redfield asserted during the hearing.
