Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is trying to reboot his presidential campaign amid stagnant poll numbers and fundraising.
DeSantis debuted an interesting new strategy.
And what Ron DeSantis just said about January 6 will leave Donald Trump’s jaw on the ground.
DeSantis drew the scorn of conservatives by initially agreeing with the media, the Democrat Party and the January 6 committee that Donald Trump bore responsibility for the events at the Capitol.

The Florida governor built his brand rejecting media narratives that establishment Republicans would accept as fact so conservatives were stunned to see DeSantis echo a storyline the media concocted about January 6 that Democrats used to attack Republicans in the 2022 midterm elections.
But given a chance to clean up his remarks DeSantis leapt at the chance.
In an interview with comedian Russell Brand, DeSantis forcefully condemned the media and Democrat Party falsehood that Donald Trump incited his supporters to stage an insurrection and attempt to overthrow the U.S. government.
DeSantis explained that the media only latched on to this baseless assertion about an insurrection to advance the political agenda of the Democrat Party.
“I think it is ridiculous how much money they pumped in for the Capitol Police. This was not an insurrection. These were people that were there to attend a rally and protest. It devolved into a riot, but the idea that this was a plan to somehow overthrow the government of the United States is not true and it is something the media has spun up to try to get mileage out of it and use it for partisan and political aims. I know there were a lot of people there who were just there, and they didn’t have any designs on doing anything,” DeSantis stated.
Few Trump supporters were armed and the only person to discharge a firearm that day was the Capitol Hill police officer who killed unarmed female Trump supporter and Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt.
DeSantis added that no one has been able to present any evidence of an actual insurrection to overthrow the U.S. government as what really happened that day was a rally that got out of hand.
Instead, DeSantis believes the media is following the playbook of repeating a falsehood so many times that the liberals in the press hope everyone else will just accept it.
“We just have to be honest about it. If somebody is honestly doing an insurrection against the U.S. government, then prove that is the case and I’ll be happy to accept it. But all you’re showing me is there were a lot of protesters there and it ended up devolving in ways that were unfortunate of course, but to say they were seditionists is just wrong,” DeSantis concluded.
DeSantis knew he made a mistake with his previous January 6 comments that played into the media’s hands.
A POLITICO/Morning Consult poll from last December showed 73 percent of Republicans think too much has been made of January 6.
If DeSantis is going to claw back into the race, he knows he cannot afford to alienate nearly three-quarters of the GOP base.
So he took the interview with Brand as the opportunity to offer a clearer version of his thoughts on the matter and make sure GOP voters knew he did not fall for a media storyline.
John Fetterman thought it was time to finally come clean.
The controversial Democrat was not honest with the voters.
And you’ll be speechless when you see what John Fetterman just confessed to.
The media continues to try and gaslight the American people about John Fetterman’s health.
By now everyone knows Fetterman suffered a stroke last May just days before the Democrat primary.
Fetterman’s team claimed he would be back on the campaign trail shortly.
Shortly turned out to be three months and it was obvious Fetterman suffered from severe cognitive issues as he could not speak coherently or process his thoughts without visual aids.
Time Magazine’s Molly Ball is out with another puff piece trying to turn questions about Fetterman not being mentally or physically capable of serving in the Senate into a hero’s journey overcoming mental health issues.
The lede of Ball’s piece acknowledges that the stroke Fetterman suffered in May nearly killed him.
Fetterman hid this fact from the voters.
Then Ball writes that the bout of depression he suffered after realizing the stroke would leave him a permanently diminished version of himself – another fact Fetterman lied to voters about as during the campaign for Senate, Fetterman claimed by January he would be recovered – led to Fetterman not caring if he lived or died.
“When he looks back on the past year—a year in which he nearly died, became a U.S. Senator, and nearly died again—it is the debate that John Fetterman identifies as the breaking point,” Ball wrote.
The next two paragraphs of Ball’s piece show she is trying to run cover for Fetterman by recasting his issues from cognitive impairment to mental health as Fetterman struggles to speak in coherent sentences.
“’The debate lit the mitch,’ he says, then shakes his head in frustration and tries again. The right word is there in his brain, but he struggles to get it out. ‘Excuse me, that should be lit the mitch—’ He stops and tries again. ‘Lit the match,’ he says finally,” Ball wrote.
“’I knew I had to do it,’ he tells me. ‘I knew that the voters deserve to have what, what the stroke has done to me—transparency that way.’ As soon as it was over, he knew it had not gone well. ‘I knew at that moment that I was going to be considered—consider myself—like, a national embarrassment,’” Ball added.
Liberal journalists like Ball keep trying to fool Americans about Fetterman because it would be devastating for the Democrat Party if health issues forced Fetterman to step down.
That’s because Democrats already face a difficult 2024 Senate map in trying to defend seats in Ohio, West Virginia, and Montana.
Fetterman resigning would create an open seat in a swing state where Democrats would need to spend tens of millions of dollars they need to try and prop up incumbents in red states.
Liberals like Molly Ball and the outlets they work for believe the best interests of the Democrat Party are in the best interests of the nation.
And that is why the press keeps trying to retcon John Fetterman’s issues.
Joe Biden’s Justice Department arrested Donald Trump a second time.
Prosecutors stretched the law to arrive at these new politically motivated charges.
And Donald Trump just got charged with this crime that carries the death penalty.
One of the crimes Jack Smith accused Trump of committing fell under the previously obscure 18 U.S.C. § 241, “Conspiracy Against Rights,” which was used to protect the rights of black Americans to cast their votes from intimidation by racist groups like the Ku Klux Klan.
Normally the law carries a 10-year prison sentence.
But if someone dies in the commission of the accused conspiring against the rights of others the government may seek the death penalty.
The statute reads:
If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or
If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt died on January 6 after a Capitol Hill police officer shot the unarmed 34-year-old Air Force veteran dead.
Smith is also charging Trump with a series of crimes where he stretched the meaning of the law because there is no statute on the books that lays out in black-and-white terms that anything Trump did in contesting the election is criminal.
Instead, Smith is arguing Trump committed a conspiracy to defraud the United States because Smith claims Trump knew his arguments about voter fraud were not true.
Jack Smith had to invent a legal theory to charge Trump under because the heart of this case is a political dispute.
Democrats failed to convict Trump on their articles of impeachment following January 6.
The penalty, had Democrats done so, was barring Trump from running for office again.
Smith picked up the ball the Democrat impeachment managers and January 6 committee left on the field and quickly turned their inquiry into a criminal case against Trump.
And the fact that Smith reached deep into the Department of Justice’s bag of tricks for Civil War-era statutes that potentially carry the death penalty shows just how unmoored this indictment is from sound legal theory and constitutional guardrails.
Even Democrats can’t ignore the mountain of bribery allegations the Bidens are facing any longer.
The records Republicans have released are fully damning.
And now a top Democrat just openly called for an investigation into the Bidens with these three words.
Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has called for an investigation into President Joe Biden after the release of a FBI form containing allegations of corruption in Ukraine.
The FBI-generated FD-1023 form, released by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), alleged that Burisma co-founder and CEO Mykola Zlochevsky told a highly credible and confidential FBI human source that he had paid Biden and his son Hunter $5 million each after then-Vice President Biden used his influence to get a Ukrainian prosecutor – who was investigating Burisma – fired.
“I have avoided criticizing the President because I, you know, I’m trying to bring people together and some of the vitriol, the poison that’s made politics so poisonous,” Kennedy told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.”
“I think though the issues that are now coming up are worrying enough that we really need a real investigation of what happened,” he said. “I mean, these revelations about the, you know, where you have Burisma — which is a notoriously corrupt company that paid out apparently $10 million to Hunter and his dad — if that’s true, then it is really troubling.”
Kennedy noted that one of the reasons the Bidens should be investigated was to restore trust in the federal government agencies which many Americans feel have become politicized.
“I think that that’s something that every American needs to worry about and our federal agencies, which used to be above politics, and now become weaponized as political instruments, and that, again, is another really damaging trend for our democracy,” he said.
Even though the Department of Justice and the FBI aren’t investigating Joe Biden, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) is using his power to investigate the Biden family.
On Friday, Comer told Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) what his committee’s next steps are, as reported by the New York Post.
“We have more bank records that we’ve received,” Comer said to Cruz on his podcast “The Verdict.”
“We’re working on a third memorandum,” he said. “They will show transactions from Ukraine and Russia.”
Comer noted the committee is focused on Joe Biden and not just family members, saying, “Joe Biden has been selling access to our enemies for decades — long before [first son Hunter Biden] was involved.”
The Kentucky Republican said he believes the family’s history of bribes has shaped many of Biden’s policies as President.
“I think there are certain policy decisions that Joe Biden has made since he’s been president that the only explanation can be because of the money his family received,” Comer said.
Conservatives are watching as evidence of scandal and criminal activity related to the Biden family grows more damning every day.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy finally commented.
And this impeachment bombshell turned Joe Biden pale as a ghost.
In an interview with Sean Hannity, House Speaker McCarthy raised the prospect of an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden over allegations of bribe-taking and weaponizing the government to help his re-election campaign.
McCarthy told Hannity that an impeachment inquiry would allow Republicans to compel Biden to turn over documents as well as force witness testimony.
“If you’re sitting in our position today, we would know none of this if Republicans had not taken the majority,” McCarthy stated. “We’ve only followed where the information has taken us. But this is rising to the level of impeachment inquiry, which provides Congress the strongest power to get the rest of the knowledge and information needed.”
McCarthy promised that the GOP majority would pursue investigations into allegations that the founder of Burisma paid Joe and Hunter Biden $10 million to induce Joe Biden to leverage his position as vice president to pressure the Ukrainian government to fire prosecutor Viktor Shokin who was investigating the company for corruption.
Biden’s Justice Department also cut Hunter Biden a kid-gloves plea deal after IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler testified that Biden officials blocked felony charges and prevented them from pursuing leads that could have produced incriminating evidence against Joe Biden.
McCarthy told Hannity that Republicans would pursue these allegations against Biden as they raised bigger concerns about corrupt and criminal conduct by the president than in Watergate.
“I believe we will follow this all the way to the end, and this is gonna rise to an impeachment inquiry the way the Constitution tells us to do this,” McCarthy continued.
“This president has also used something we haven’t seen since Nixon, the weaponization of government to benefit his family and deny Congress the ability to have the oversight,” McCarthy added.
The following day McCarthy doubled down and said Republicans would pursue an impeachment inquiry if the facts warranted.
“Our investigations are revealing more info every day about the Biden family’s shell companies and the sweetheart deal from the DOJ. The American public has a right to the truth. If evidence continues to rise to the level of an impeachment inquiry, House Republicans will act,” McCarthy posted on social media.
Many conservatives are wondering what it will take for McCarthy to act.
The FBI got caught trying to cover up a tip from a highly credible confidential human source about the Burisma founder allegedly bribing Joe Biden in exchange for political favors.
The IRS whistleblowers testified about the unprecedented political meddling by the Biden Justice Department in the Hunter Biden probe.
The two scandals look like they are linked as the Hunter Biden sweetheart plea deal closed off the most promising avenue to investigate the Biden bribe allegations.
Democrats impeached Donald Trump twice based on two sham, partisan hoaxes.
And conservatives are asking themselves how much more proof McCarthy needs to hold Joe Biden accountable.
Kamala Harris decided to toss a grenade into the 2024 presidential election.
But no one could have predicted what happened next.
And one top Republican just said the last thing Kamala Harris ever expected.
The 2024 election will be no different than any other.
Democrats will depend on a fear-and-smear campaign to scare voters to the polls.
Just like in past elections, Democrats are playing the race card to frighten black voters into turning out by lying about Republicans supporting slavery.
In 2012 then-Vice President Joe Biden falsely claimed Republicans would reinstate slavery telling a black audience that RINOs Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan want to “put y’all back in chains.”
In 2024 it is Kamala Harris doing the dirty work.
Harris traveled to a sorority convention in Jacksonville where she promptly lied about new educational standards put in place in the state of Florida, falsely claiming that DeSantis wants schools to teach children that slavery was a good thing.
“And as people who love our country, as patriots, we know that we must remember and teach our full history, even when it is painful. Especially when it is painful. Today there are those in our nation who would prefer to erase, or even rewrite the ugly parts of our past. Those who attempt to teach that enslaved people benefited from slavery, those who insult us in an attempt to gaslight us, who try to divide our nation with unnecessary debates. Let us not be seduced into believing that somehow we will be better if we forget,” Harris ranted.
Establishment-aligned presidential candidate and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott raised eyebrows among conservatives by joining Harris in attacking the state of Florida’s new black history curriculum.

The controversy surrounds one line in the curriculum which states that slaves learned skills such as being blacksmiths that benefited them later in life after they won their freedom.
Nowhere does the curriculum call slavery beneficial or a good thing net-net for black Americans.
Conservatives noticed this isn’t the first time Scott went woke and joined the Democrats.
After George Floyd’s death Scott bought into the Democrats’ anti-police posture and tried to cut a deal that would have put Congress – led at the time by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer – in charge of police conduct standards nationwide.
Scott also played racial politics to help the Democrats torpedo two of President Trump’s conservative judicial nominees.
Tim Scott is gaining on DeSantis in polls taken in Iowa, South Carolina, and New Hampshire.
And Scott sees playing it down the middle as an avatar of the Republican establishment – which means rolling over and surrendering when Democrats cry racism – is his path to becoming the alternative to Donald Trump.
Joe Biden enlisted the Justice Department to act as an extension of his re-election campaign.
Biden and the Democrats are about to bring the entire force of the American legal system to bear against Trump.
And all hell broke loose when Donald Trump made this promise about going to jail.
Joe Biden and the Justice Department aren’t even trying to hide it anymore that the two are working in concert for the 2024 election.
On the day after a judge threw out the Biden Justice Department’s scheme to grant Hunter Biden blanket immunity from all future prosecution through sneaky language in a sweetheart plea deal, anti-Trump special counsel Jack Smith filed three more charges against Trump in the Mar-a-Lago witch hunt and indicted Trump’s chief maintenance worker because he would not flip on Trump.
Smith is now charging Trump with 40 phony, politically motivated charges with a trial set to commence weeks before the Republican National Convention.
And Smith is also on the verge of filing another bogus indictment against Trump on sham charges relating to contesting the 2020 election.
Smith will try the January 6 case in Washington, D.C. in front of a Democrat judge with a jury stacked with Democrats.
Trump doesn’t stand a chance in such a kangaroo court.
Host John Fredericks asked Trump about the possibility that a rigged trial in D.C. results in conviction.
Fredericks wanted to know if that would cause Trump to drop out of the 2024 race.
“Well, this is I mean, this is what they want to destroy your life as well, and get you off the ballot. So let me ask you this. If going forward, right. You get these indictments, there ends up you got a jury in D.C., you get convicted and sentenced. Does that stop your campaign for president if you’re sentenced?” Fredericks asked.
Trump fired back that under no circumstances, if the rigged jury in D.C. convicted him and the Democrat judge sentenced him to jail, would he drop out of the race, promising to campaign from a jail cell if need be.
“No, not at all. There’s nothing in the Constitution to say that it could, and not at all. And even the radical left crazies are saying, no, that wouldn’t stop. And it wouldn’t stop me either. These people are sick. What they’re doing is absolutely horrible,” Trump responded.
There is a reason that for nearly 250 years, presidents did not investigate and prosecute their predecessors.
That’s because from the Founders on, America’s leaders understood that once a corrupt president weaponized the virtually unlimited police powers of the state against his political opposition, the American experiment in self-government was over.
Hillary Clinton’s bitter feelings towards America have been exposed.

There may not be a group of people in the United States who hates our country more than the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team.
They have been protesting the flag and national anthem for years ever since Colin Kaepernick began the trend by kneeling on the sidelines of 49ers games.
Now they’re at it again.
According to Fox News, “When the USWNT lined up on the field prior to the start of their opening 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup match against Vietnam, the majority of the team stood during the playing of the ‘Star Spangled Banner,’ although most of the players seemed to remain silent.”
“The entire opposing team appeared to passionately sing as Vietnam’s national anthem ‘Tiến Quân Ca,’ or ‘Song of a Marching Army’ was played. The players seemed to sing in unison, and all eleven athletes held their right hands over their hearts.”
So the national anthem of Vietnam got a rousing chorus while America’s national anthem was met with indignant silence.
These women are embarrassing America at international events – in front of a global audience who sees their hatred for their own country and assumes America must be a truly awful place.
But it can’t be that awful of a place – these women are overpaid and just disgruntled. And, unfortunately, they’re being encouraged by some very high-profile figures.
Hillary Clinton is the latest and the most egregious one.
Still bitter over her loss in the 2016 presidential election, Hillary thinks America should pay for not giving her the White House she assumed she deserved.
This bitterness apparently goes hand-in-hand with the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team.
Just before the women insulted the U.S. national anthem, Hillary tweeted out, “They’ve won medals, trophies, AND equal pay. My heroines! Excited to root on our USWNT in this year’s World Cup!”
This is a woman who very nearly became President of the United States – and she is teaming up with people who hate America and insult the national anthem!
Megan Rapinoe, one of the most infamous U.S. female soccer players, had this to say: “I’ll probably never sing the national anthem again.”
Fox News noted, “During a 2021 match against Australia, only one member of the American women’s soccer team opted against kneeling as the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ played.”
These are Hillary Clinton’s friends and allies. This is who she’s rooting for.
Americans saw through Hillary Clinton’s lies in 2016. They knew how she felt about America.
And now her full-on bitterness has been exposed by openly siding with radical activists who insult the flag and our national anthem.
John Fetterman is getting ready to hit the panic button.
And John Fetterman delivered a scary warning about Trump that hit Joe Biden like a ton of bricks.
Pennsylvania is the battleground of all battlegrounds.
Donald Trump narrowly carried the commonwealth in 2016 which put him over the top on the Electoral College.
Joe Biden winning Pennsylvania in 2020 proved critical to his campaign.
One Democrat who can read the tea leaves in his home turf is Democrat Senator John Fetterman.
Fetterman made it clear in both public and private comments that Donald Trump is the Republican who terrifies him the most and who has the best chance of turning Pennsylvania red in 2024.
“Trump is very popular. You still see Trump signs everywhere … you’ve got to respect Trump’s strength,” Fetterman said in a gathering with reporters.
In private Fetterman was more explicit saying anyone that underestimates Trump is a fool as the working class base that formed the foundation of the winning coalition in 2016 is as potent as ever.
“According to a senior Fetterman aide, the senator is predicting Biden will win reelection, but he now believes that Trump is the only candidate in the entire 2024 GOP primary field who can compete — particularly in Pennsylvania,” Rolling Stone reported.
Fetterman also expressed his belief that Ron DeSantis would be easier to defeat than Trump.
“Fighting Mickey Mouse doesn’t play in PA,” Rolling Stone also reported.
“Fetterman says Trump, in contrast, is a candidate to be taken seriously in Pennsylvania, and that anyone who doesn’t is simply being too arrogant,” the Rolling Stone report continued.
Polling data backs up Fetterman’s fears.
A recent Quinnipiac poll showed Trump beating Biden in Pennsylvania thanks to Trump holding a commanding 14-point lead over Biden with the critical independent voter bloc.
“In a hypothetical 2024 general election matchup between Biden and Trump, the race is a virtual dead heat among all registered voters with 47 percent supporting Trump and 46 percent supporting Biden,” a Quinnipiac polling memo stated.
“Republicans (89 – 7 percent) and independents (51 – 37 percent) support Trump, while Democrats (94 – 4 percent) support Biden,” the polling memo reported.
New General Election polling from Donald Trump’s pollster John McLaughlin also shows Trump leading Joe Biden.

Democrats know Donald Trump is a serious threat to win the 2024 election because voters view Joe Biden as a failed president who is too old, too physically frail, and in too steep a state of cognitive decline to carry on for another four years.
And that is why conservatives believe Biden weaponized the justice system to try and stop Trump from running in 2024.
Joe Biden’s strategy of weaponizing the justice system to wage lawfare against Donald Trump is reaching the endgame.
Biden thinks his Democrat prosecutors have Trump cornered.
And Donald Trump learned some bad news about spending 20 years in prison.
Fani Willis is the elected Democrat prosecutor in Fulton County, Georgia.
Willis is one of the Democrat prosecutors trying to help Joe Biden win the 2024 election by indicting Trump to force Trump off the campaign trail.
In recent days Willis took a big step towards indicting Trump by empaneling a grand jury in the Democrat stronghold of Fulton County.
And Willis – like Jack Smith and Alvin Bragg – plans to stretch the law to the breaking point by hitting Trump with racketeering charges relating to Trump contesting the results of the 2020 election.
These charges – since the trial will be held with a Democrat judge and jury – could see a conviction threaten Trump with up to 20 years in prison.
“The Fulton county district attorney investigating Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in the state of Georgia has developed evidence to charge a sprawling racketeering indictment next month, according to two people briefed on the matter,” the Guardian reported.
“The racketeering statute in Georgia requires prosecutors to show the existence of an ‘enterprise’ – and a pattern of racketeering activity that is predicated on at least two ‘qualifying’ crimes,” the Guardian also reported.
Georgia’s broad racketeering statute lets Willis expand the boundaries of the law to hit Trump with bogus charge after bogus charge.
“In the Trump investigation, the Fulton county district attorney, Fani Willis, has evidence to pursue a racketeering indictment predicated on statutes related to influencing witnesses and computer trespass, the people said,” the Guardian added.
In this case, Willis plans to rerun the Ukraine impeachment hoax and indict Trump over his routine January 2021 phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
On that call Trump claimed fraudulent votes cost him Georgia and argued that a proper investigation would show he won the state.
“The specific evidence was not clear, though the charge regarding influencing witnesses could include Trump’s conversations with Georgia’s secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, in which he asked Raffensperger to ‘find’ 11,780 votes, the people said – and thereby implicate Trump,” the Guardian also reported.
Politicians are allowed to contest elections through all legal means.
Willis wants to indict Trump for routine standard activism.
Democrats challenged every election won by a Republican in the 21st century.
But Joe Biden and his allies want to criminalize opposition to them and jail the leading contender from the opposition party because Biden fears he cannot defeat Trump at the ballot box.
