Students for Life Warns of a New Violent Drug Cartel Being Aided by Joe Biden

Biden’s open borders are wreaking havoc across the nation.

The spike in fentanyl deaths alone would be reason enough to shut our borders.

But now, Students for Life is warning of a new violent drug cartel being aided by Joe Biden.

According to the CDC, more than 71,000 people died from overdoses from synthetic opioids like fentanyl in 2021, up from the approximately 57,000 in 2020.

Part of this increase was due to COVID lockdowns, business closures, and unemployment forced on the nation by a government gone wild with fear.

But another reason has been an uptick in fentanyl being smuggled across Joe Biden’s porous borders.

Recently more than 300,000 fentanyl pills were seized in a federal drug bust involving three major drug trafficking groups with close ties to Mexico.

And in Virginia earlier this year, more than 35 people were arrested during a three-day drug bust known as “Operation Cookout.”

According to law enforcement, they recovered enough fentanyl to kill 14 million people!

But it turns out heroin, fentanyl, and other synthetic drugs may not be the deadliest drugs coming into the U.S.

According to Kristin Hawkins, president of Students for Life, a secret network of drug cartels have been smuggling banned abortion pills into the U.S. from Mexico.

In a letter sent to Congress addressing these developments, Hawkins and Students for Life Action write, “A shocking new report details how the Biden Administration’s obsession with death by elective abortion has created an abortion drug cartel at the Mexican border.”

Even more compelling is that Hawkins and Students for Life got this information from a report in none other than the radical leftist newspaper the Washington Post.

Hawkins and Students for Life Action also demanded that “the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) investigate and prevent drug crimes that include abortion pills.”

“When Congress reconvenes, addressing an emerging abortion pill cartel must be a priority,” Hawkins continued.

But this is not the first time this issue has come up since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

As far back as last summer, several major media outlets reported on an underground network in Mexico smuggling abortion pills into the states.

“The medications are arriving in a thousand ways, in creative ways, into the hands of women,” according to Verónica Cruz Sánchez, a prominent Mexican abortion activist whose group Las Libres helps run the network.

In fact, just days after the Supreme Court overturned Roe, the Biden administration unveiled its “action plan” to increase access to “the abortion pill.”

The process involves taking two pills – the first being the drug mifepristone which blocks the hormone progesterone needed for a viable pregnancy to continue.

The second pill, misoprostol, essentially causes the woman to go into labor and deliver the deceased baby.

While this method is approved to be used only within the first 10 weeks of pregnancy, there’s no reason to believe there aren’t healthcare providers prescribing it past 10 weeks.

And according to Tessa Longbons, a senior research associate with the Charlotte Lozier Institute, the abortion pills can be more dangerous than surgical abortions.

Worse, the FDA dropped the requirement for doctors to see patients in-person before prescribing the pills – opening the

door to a vast telemedicine abortion business where women can receive the pills by mail with no medical oversight.

And now with abortion pills flooding across our open borders and into the black market, the murderous business of abortion knows no bounds.

If pro-life activists and pro-life Americans wish to stop the mass murder of our children, we’re going to have to do much more than applaud the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
