Donald Trump Was Furious When the DOJ Ignored a Direct Order and Kept This Secret

The Department of Justice became part of the Deep State decades ago.

But they worked overtime to try and take down Trump.

Which is why Donald Trump was furious when the DOJ ignored his direct order and kept this secret.

The simple fact is the DOJ is fully staffed by Deep State operatives who have one goal in mind – the complete destruction of the conservative and liberty movements.

And they’ve used every trick in the book to do it.

They’ve gone after conservative organizations and campaigns with phony investigations and criminal charges, they’ve tried to shut down organizations with threats and intimidation.

And of course, they’ve locked up dozens of American citizens as their political prisoners for the crime of trespassing.

These are things the DOJ has done for years.

In fact, in a widely publicized case, the DOJ went after Ron Paul and some of his campaign staff in a first-of-its-kind case back in 2016.

But to actively take on a presidential campaign and then a sitting U.S. President shows that the DOJ has really gone off the rails.

And now we find out that the DOJ flat-out ignored a direct order from President Trump.

The U.S. Justice Department refused to release hundreds of pages of documents that Donald Trump had ordered declassified.

These documents would have allegedly exposed a myriad of FBI abuses throughout the Russia-Trump collusion probe.

After the DOJ cited “privacy concerns,” Trump ordered the documents be released with the proper redactions to appease the agency.

But the DOJ defied the order and never released the documents.

The story of how the declassified material never became public was contained in a memo obtained by Just the News.

The memo, written by White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, confirmed that Trump declassified hundreds of pages of FBI documents showing how the Bureau used informants and FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and misled both a federal court and Congress to get approval for the Russia collusion investigation.

In the end, of course, multiple investigations found there was no collusion and the FBI had, in fact, violated the rules and misled the FISA court in effort to keep their investigation into Trump ongoing.

In an interview on “Just the News, Not Noise” television show, Meadows said he was dismayed that the DOJ ignored lawful instruction from a sitting President and said it was part of a larger effort by the federal bureaucracy to undercut Trump to protect itself.

“Well, you know, the swamp is pretty deep,” Meadows said.

“But when we look at this, this particular president was all about draining the swamp, you know, and when he was running, that was more of a campaign slogan. When he got there, he realized that not only was the swamp very deep, but they would fight back.”

And Liz Harrington, Trump’s spokeswoman, told Just the News that the DOJ’s decision to hide the documents only emboldened the political abuse within the agency.

“For four years they lied, leaked, spied on, and smeared President Trump in their attempts to defy the will of the people,” she said.

“This is further proof of the depths they will go to hide their corruption. It is far past time for transparency of one of the biggest political scandals in American history.”

Former Trump adviser David Bossie, the head of Citizens United, said this is proof that the Deep State in Washington wields so much power that it can stop a duly-elected President.

“This is what President Trump ran against: the Deep State,” Bossie said.

“These are the deep state actors that the American people don’t understand really what it’s about, but it’s the people who are the permanent class in Washington D.C. They just don’t do what they’re told. They don’t do what they are ordered to do. And so when President Trump says to a bunch of bureaucrats to go do something, they sit on their hands, and especially at the last minute. This was a conspiracy against the president, within our own government.”

Meadows said if the documents are finally released, they will not only fully vindicate Trump, but will show compelling evidence that the Democrats and FBI officials who told the public there was a Russia-Trump conspiracy knew what they were saying was untrue.

“We found that not only were some of the allegations made by some of the Democrats false, but they were kind of guilty of what they were accusing Donald Trump of,” Meadows said.
