The economy keeps getting worse and prices continue to soar.
And nowhere is this being felt more than at the gas pump.
But Joe Biden just made one decision on gas prices that means the end for Democrats.
That Joe Biden is pursuing insane policies is no surprise to any sane observer.
From economic socialism to unconstitutional power grabs, his policies have only worsened almost every single crisis on his watch.
And now the Biden administration has an insane response to record-high gas prices.
“Bidenflation” is crushing everyday Americans.
The rate of inflation has hit a 40-year-high, and it’s even worse when calculating with the Consumer Price Index from 1982.
While a big part of the problem is decades of bad fiscal and monetary policy under both parties, Joe Biden is making it so much worse with his policies.
His economic policies are increasing costs on everything from bacon to baby food, green beans to gasoline -– and purposely so.
And Fox News reporter Peter Doocy got White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to admit as much during a recent briefing.
Doocy asked the usually elusive KJP, “The president once said he’s going to end fossil fuels. Is that now off the table?”
Jean-Pierre shockingly responded, “No, we are going to continue to move forward with our clean energy proposal, our climate change proposal…”
So she said the quiet part out loud.
Or, in other words, Joe Biden will be doing everything in his power to lower prices – except what would actually work.
Like taking his boot off the backs of the oil and natural gas industries. Or open up drilling. Or open up exploration. Or open up the pipeline.
During the 2020 election, Biden promised the radical environmentalists and “green” enviro-nazis he would cancel the Keystone XL pipeline and ban fracking on federal land.
Unfortunately for Americans, Biden followed through on his promise, and his administration has slow-walked the process for energy companies to get drilling leases.
In addition, his anti-fossil fuel rhetoric has created too much speculation in the market.
Companies are now disincentivized to invest in new projects since they don’t know if they’ll just be kneecapped later on down the road by government regulation.
All of these factors are raising gas prices – not just “Putin’s price hike” like Democrat talking-heads want people to believe.
Gas prices began going up as soon as Biden took office because the market knew what would happen with a President and an administration so hostile to fossil fuels.
Even CNN host Abby Phillip called out the dilemma Biden now faces by having to cater so much to the progressives and green radical fringe elements in his party.
During a panel discussion the CNN host said, “Interestingly, you bring up climate change, one of the challenges for Biden is that he needs more drilling in order to get through this period of high gas prices. But progressives, frankly—I mean, that is just not politically tenable for a Democratic president to say to the oil companies, ‘Drill, baby, drill.’”
And right now the American people are paying for it.
But come November, it’s likely Joe and the Democrats will pay the ultimate price.
