Joe Biden has found himself under the gun for his mishandling of, well, just about everything.
The first 100 days of his presidency has given us a crisis at the Southern border, a hacked pipeline followed by massive gas shortages, and an increase in violence here at home and in the Middle East.
With so many Biden missteps, many Americans are left questioning the timing of this announcement from the CDC.
Last week, to the left’s utter dismay, the CDC announced they were easing up on indoor mask guidelines.
But with violence ramping up in the Middle East and our economy tanking thanks to Biden’s leftist policies, the American people are wondering if the CDC’s surprising announcement isn’t just a distraction from everything that’s going wrong in Biden’s world.
President Biden is up against intense pressure from lawmakers on both sides of the aisle who are demanding decisive action be taken in response to the escalating military clashes between Israel and Hamas.
Not to mention, people want answers about the ransomware cyberattack attack on the largest fuel supplier for the Eastern seaboard and the rising concerns about inflation that’s weighing on the stock market.
And then there’s the crisis at the Southern border that Vice President Harris was assigned to manage but has yet to do anything about.
With so much chaos surrounding the Biden White House, Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona speculated about the odd timing of the CDC’s new mask guidelines.
“While the new mask guidance is encouraging, the CDC and my Far Radical Left colleagues only chose to do this to distract from the consequences of catastrophic policy decisions that have been heard around the world. Inflation is rising, the Middle East is in shambles, the working class can’t fill up their gas tanks, our border is being overrun, and the Biden Administration’s leadership is nowhere to be found,” Biggs stated.
As recently as late March, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky had predicted “impending doom” for the states such as Texas and Florida that had loosened up their restrictions on social distancing and masks.
But these states have now seen significant drops in COVID cases – in fact, Texas has had zero COVID deaths in the last two months of lifting their mask mandate.
Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee echoed Representative Biggs’ statement asking, “Why today? The science hasn’t changed.”
But then Biden stepped in it big-time and tweeted, “The rule is now simple: get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do. The choice is yours.”
This sent the Twitter-sphere into a tailspin with Biden being compared to Stalin and viciously attacked for “acting like the dictator everyone thought he would be.”
Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky responded, “Show us in the Constitution where you have this power, Mr. @POTUS (You don’t).”
Many argue Biden is ultimately laying the groundwork for a national vaccine passport.
But whatever the reasoning was behind the CDC’s sudden decision to relax mask guidelines, most can agree it sure looks like an attempt to save face for Biden.
Unfortunately for ol’ Uncle Joe, it didn’t work and in typical fashion, he only made things worse.
