Hillary is trying her best to get back in the spotlight and gain back some of the power she has lost.
She’s recently been all over TV and traveling the country for speaking engagements.
Now, Hillary Clinton is ready to make a surprise major announcement that will shock the Democrats.
There is no doubt that the liberal elite, the Hollywood glitterati and of course the media, are in love with and still enamored by Hillary Clinton.
She is still the darling of the leftist intelligentsia cocktail crowd and many activists in the Democrat Party.
It’s also well known that Hillary just can’t get over losing to Donald Trump in 2016.
It’s a weird and potentially dangerous obsession.
Hillary and her cronies really thought she had the 2016 presidential election in the bag. That is the real reason she canceled some campaign stops in battleground states.
After all, why spend the time and money if you’ve “already won.”
And her hatred of Donald Trump seethes from every part of her. That is why so many of the hardcore left and Hollywood mouthpieces still admire and fawn over her.
But, if rumors coming out of Hillary’s camp are true, the left may have nothing but scorn for the former Secretary of State and First Lady in the Blue Dress White House.
Because in a recent interview with Variety while attending the Sundance Film Festival, Clinton said she feels “the urge” to beat President Trump in the coming election.
But the former Democrat Senator and wife of Bill went further stating, “Yeah. I certainly feel the urge because I feel the 2016 election was a really odd time and an odd outcome. And the more we learn, the more that seems to be the case.”
Comments like these from Hillary are getting more and more frequent and more and more direct.
And as none of the current Democrat candidates can seem to maintain a firm lead on the nomination, there are growing calls for someone “new” to jump into the race as a compromise candidate who can bring together all the various factions and unite to defeat Trump in November.
Hillary, it seems, believes that candidate is her.
Unfortunately, most pundits believe a Hillary entry into the already crowded field will only further muddy the waters and leave the door open for a Sanders’ nomination as Hillary and former Vice President Joe Biden split the “non-socialist” vote.
It also could do even further damage to the campaigns of Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), and Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D- HI 2) by further splitting the women’s vote.
Other leading Democrat activists, while still admiring Hillary, think her time is over and have urged her not to run and instead get behind the eventual Democrat nominee.
If that is the route Clinton chooses, her campaigning for the Democrat nominee could be a plus, or a minus, depending on just how liberal or socialist that nominee is.
And of course, the big question is, will she campaign in Wisconsin and Michigan this time?
We will keep you up to date on Clinton and her foray into the 2020 presidential campaign.
