Kellyanne Conway is one of Donald Trump’s top advisors.
But she is in big trouble.
That’s because she has a lot of explaining to do after this tweet went viral.
Conway is married to prominent conservative lawyer George Conway.
George Conway – who once was considered for a prominent job in the Trump Justice Department – is now one of the most vocal Never Trumpers on social media.
He tweets a stream of caustic insults at the President calling his administration a “s%^tshow dumpster fire” and smearing President Trump as a liar.
But he took his insults to another level when he tweeted that President Trump was mentally ill and accused the President of suffering from various psychological disorders.
Conway tweeted out pictures of the cover of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to accuse President Trump of suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Antisocial Personality Disorder.

Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale responded that Conway was jealous of his wife’s success and bitter over not landing a job in the Trump administration.
Parscale tweeted, “We all know that @realDonaldTrump turned down Mr. Kellyanne Conway for a job he desperately wanted. He barely worked @TheJusticeDept and was either fired/quit, didn’t want the scrutiny? Now he hurts his wife because he is jealous of her success. POTUS doesn’t even know him!”
Both Kellyanne and George Conway responded in a story in the Washington Post.
The piece included anecdotes about how Kellyanne protested to reporters that they should not cover her husband’s tweets and that George Conway claimed he tweeted his attacks on President Trump so he did not have to fight with his wife at home.
Some Trump supporters questioned the legitimacy of both of their stories.
Previous reporting on the Trump administration suggests Kellyanne Conway is one of the biggest leakers in the White House.
The Week reported that in his book Den of Vipers, former Trump aide Cliff Sims wrote:
Conway “bashed” Kushner, Steve Bannon, and Reince Priebus by name and also recounted private conversations with Trump, “talking about him like a child she had to set straight,” Sims said. “I was sitting there, watching this, totally bewildered. I was supposed to be writing a statement, defending her against accusations that she had done almost exactly what I was watching her do that very moment.”
Some Trump supporters wonder if Conway’s public defenses of Trump on television or the fact that she allows her husband to trash her boss in public represent her true feelings toward the President.
Conway is one of the most high-profile Trump administration officials that regularly goes on CNN to combat the fake news attacks against President Trump.
But she is also married to one of his most high-profile critics.
Some Trump supporters wonder if Kellyanne Conway is trying to play both sides against the middle.
She publicly defends Trump on television to maintain her reputations with the base.
But she allows her husband to trash the President on social media and leaks constantly to the media to maintain her reputation with the establishment should the Trump Presidency not reach a second term.
